Just thinkin’ about
Clears away the cobwebs,
And the sorrow
‘Til there’s none!
After all the tumultuous things that have happened recently, what better way to give our family a sense of hope and normalcy than with a family night out on Broadway.
“The sun will come out… ” I would sing along with my sister as little girls. Although we were young, we had a deep connection with Annie. I don’t know whether or not is was because she was a little girl like us or because we had resembling curls, our love for Annie never ceased. Lots of sweet memories rush in when I think about watching ANNIE the movie as a kid. We fell in love with the little red head and lucky dog, Sandy, years ago and got to relive the experience all over again on Broadway. Thanks to Arielle Tepper for bringing back the spirit of hope and dreams to New York City, all while bringing our childhood memories back to life.
Miss Hannigan, played by the talented Katie Finneran was phenomenal.
The show was spectacular! The songs brought tears of joy to my eyes and the others seated around me. It was a truly special moment. What was even more stunning was that Taylor Richardson, Lilla Crawford’s u/s, performed that night and blew our socks off. What a beautiful performance she did.
New York really shined, the decor was impeccable and really impressed us. But go see how beautiful this show is for yourself! You’ll have a magical time!
