La Buchananita

December 19, 2011 1 Comment »

As you may or may not know, Buchanan’s is one of the world’s best and most-beloved whiskies, with tremendous popularity in Mexico and other Latin American countries.  For the first time ever, this storied brand is releasing Buchanan’s Master, which retains some of the traditional characteristics of the Buchanan’s house style, with a signature smoothness of orange notes, finishing in hints of fine chocolate, and introducing a new nutty aftertaste. This unique whisky is the Master Blender’s gift to the man who love’s Buchanan’s – a blend of Scotch whiskies hand selected at the optimal point of maturation for a uniquely complex liquid with a smooth fresh taste – perfect for sharing with close friends and loved ones.

For many, this will be the perfect accompaniment to the holidays poured either neat or on the rocks.  However, I realize this pour isn’t for everyone which is why this special recipe was created for and by Latinos, using Buchanan’s Master.
