Besides Nicky Jam being drop dead gorgeous, in my opinon, the kid is undeniably talented! As one of the pioneers of Reggaeton, an he’s an international superstar of our generation. Known to drop one of 30 bars off the top of his head, Nicky can get you to move to the music in a heart beat. It’s got to be the passion that drives him and it is evident in his lyrics and his music. He can sing. He can rap. He can even dance, I heard. LOL
Needless to say, when I was invited to attend a intimate event hosted by AT&T at Flash Factory in the heart of New York City this past Tuesday as part of @ATTLatino’s final stop on the #ExpresaTuPasion tour, I said yes! I had the honor of meeting the one and only Nicky Jam before his performance and to say that I was star struck is an understatement. My beautiful sister accompanied me and we danced the night away to many of Nicky’s top hits, including “El Perdon”, “Travesuras”, and his latest record “El Amante”. If you follow me on Snapchat or Instagram, you can catch some of the highlights of the night.
Nicky’s story is inspiring (and if you don’t know, he’s the comeback kid – and he’s better now more than ever!) but his music is full of passion and it transcends and it makes me happy. AT&T knows what ignites us, Latinos and that’s passion among other things. Passion is the furnace that keeps our souls LIT!
Music brings us together and besides, who doesn’t love to dance to some reggaeton? Check out this video below.
