Nathan’s Annual Fourth of July Hot Dog Eating Contest To Kick-off The Day At 10:00am
Summer is here and the beach is only a train ride away. We love going to Coney Island to see the 4th of July fireworks display and for the second year in a row, Coney Island will be putting on a fireworks show to celebrate Fourth of July in Coney Island. This year’s show will cap off an exciting day in Coney Island with the Annual Fourth of July Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest and the Brooklyn Cyclones tilt against the Williamsport Crosscutters, both taking place before the show.
The event will begin at approximately 9:45 pm near Steeplechase Plaza on the boardwalk at West 19th. The show is presented by the Alliance for Coney Island and local area stakeholders, with support from Councilman Mark Treyger. 92.3FM will also provide music leading up to the fireworks show starting at 7:30pm.
