Busch Gardens Tampa Bay celebrates the spirit of the season with the return of several holiday classics, then rings in the New Year with special entertainment and spectacular fireworks.
There’s a festive chill in the air when Busch Gardens presents Christmas on Ice, a limited-engagement ice-skating show bringing a graceful winter wonderland to life. The rest of the park is transformed into a holiday wonderland featuring a cappella carols by the Men of Note, spectacular poinsettias, festive decorations and classic music.
Busch Gardens Tampa Bay’s holiday events take place daily from Nov. 19 to Jan. 1, 2012 and are included with the price of admission.

Sesame Place, the nation’s only theme park based entirely on the award-winning show Sesame Street, is preparing for its all-new Christmas event. Set to begin on November 25, A Very Furry Christmas is a one-of-a-kind, family-friendly celebration with everyone’s favorite Sesame pals. The park will transform into a winter wonderland filled with lights, trees, shows, music, treats, rides and Santa Claus!
This 19 day event allows guests to experience Sesame Place in a whole new way, with a 25-foot Christmas Tree that lights up the night in sync with Sesame Street holiday tunes and three all-new Christmas shows. Santa Claus will also visit the park each evening to hear Christmas wishes and pose for photos at Santa’s Workshop, where kids and adults alike will enjoy talking with a cheerful interactive snowman before being greeted by joyful elf attendants.
A Very Furry Christmas opens at Sesame Place on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays beginning Friday, November 25th. The park will also open each evening from December 26 through December 31.
A Very Furry Christmas admission tickets are available for purchase at $19.99. Guests with 2011 and 2012 Season Passes are able to purchase a Christmas Pass for A Very Furry Christmas at a 30 percent discount for just $13.99.
