Documenting Memories: The Friendship Book Review

Photobucket

Our home library is filled with all sorts of genres but one stands out above the rest. The books written by us are certainly the most treasured.  MomSparkMedia gave me the opportunity to review the Friendship Book.  Our family loves to read so a book for review is always welcomed.

Ever took a look at your diary or journal and turn back to the pages you wrote as a child or adolescent? Oh the wonders that lay between the lines in a handwritten book?  Surprising, suspenseful, laughable and certainly interesting  things a journal can tell you.  The events that took place once upon a time lend themselves to be lived again and again. Every time you turn the page a wave of memories and emotions fill your heart and your mind.

As I opened the friendship book, I saw a new and improved journal for a child (I wish I had a Friendship Book as a child). One of my favorite things about the Friendship Book was that it allows your friends to write their favorite things .

What a delight it was when my daughter held the Friendship Book. Her eyes lit up with the possibilities she would soon encounter when she shares her new book with her friends.

In a world of almost every children’s gadget being filled with lights, chirps and sounds – the Friendship Book offers something intricately special – the chance for a child to discover all the favorite things of him/her  self and their friends.

Another very cool thing is that the Friendship Book is bilingual.  The Friendship Book is in English and Spanish.  It also holds a place for jokes, photos, and phone numbers so friends can stay in touch, always.

I recommend you give your child the same opportunity. Let the writing, laughing, and treasures begin.

  1. Hola Rachel,
Thank you for the great review! I guess the picture shows your daughter looking at her book? She looks so happy and excited.
By the way, Friendship Book comes in three different themes. As moms we know that also our children like choices: Off to School, Pet Buddies and Animals at Play, http://www.friendshipbook.com
