Imperfectly Perfect Parenting

March 11, 2011 1 Comment »

Motherhood is full of laughs, love and a few gritos (cries) here and there but the rewards are endless.  It takes a lot of work to build a home and if you think parenting is easy as uno, dos, tres (1,2,3) let me be the first to tell you – Honey, something ain’t right!

There are days when the smiles are wide and the hugs timeless but there are also nights that are sleepless and days you wish you could run away and find a little peace and quiet because deep inside all I am is  “The Girl In The Mirror“.

And there are times I consider myself “…A Mean Mom” but I must take pride in it because in the end, it all works for good.  Believe me.

There are days where no matter what I do, my kiddo has made it her job NOT to listen.  It’s “Just One Of Those Days” I know and even though those days are the hardest I’m thankful for them because they teach me the most.

Yes, for real.  It doesn’t matter how great of a parent you are, the “Mama Meltdown” can occur but its OK we are only human and no one is perfect.

Motherhood is so much “More Than A Juggling Act” but I wouldn’t change it for the world.

Who is perfect? No one, Especially parents. That is what makes us so unique and awesome. And you said it better than I could ever say it – parenting is imperfectly perfect. Don’t worry girl.. Being a mom is hard but it’s a great thing.
