Time is always ticking and I always find myself trying to beat it!
In the life of this busy, full-time working mommy and blogger, I have found that time management has helped me tremendously.
Here a ten tips that have helped me stay on time and still look good.
1. Get plenty of rest. Your favorite sitcom or novela is (for me its The Office) is running a marathon tonight. Your best bet is to hit the DVR button and go to sleep. Catch those z’s. Getting enough rest at night can help get rid of the sluggish/ zombie mode you’re in when you wake up in the morning.
3. Write it down. Not too many people know how to measure time, meaning, how long does it really take to get dressed, brew the coffee, make breakfast, wake the kiddies, eat breakfast, put on makeup, comb your hair, commute to work, etc. It all adds up. Take a minute to write down all the amazing things you do to get yourself and your family ready and out the door. Add it up. You will see the total time and will be able to draft a schedule that gives you at least 15 minutes of “just in case” time. (See number 10.)
